Vitality Group, a global health and wellness company committed to making people healthier, announced that Jenny Carrillo, PhD, has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Health Solutions. Dr. Carrillo will lead Vitality’s expansion into partnerships with health plans, providers and other ancillary health services.

Known for her work in healthcare technology and efforts to achieve health equity by removing barriers that contribute to health disparities, Dr. Carrillo previously served as the Vice President of Health Plan Solutions at Amwell.
Trained as a clinical psychologist, she has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, spanning from academia to executive roles in strategy, sales, marketing, external affairs, and cross-functional integration. Dr. Carrillo has contributed to publications and panels, speaking extensively about achieving health equity, and served on various boards. Her distinctions include an NIH National Research Service Award, Yale 100 Delegation to China, and Fellow of the Connecticut Health Foundation. She received her PhD from Yale University and was a consultant with McKinsey & Co.
