Vitality Mall and Amazon.com: Encouraging progress by rewarding success

Incentives have long been proven to be a force in driving initial and ongoing participation in wellness programs and promoting enhanced results. Members can redeem their Vitality Points in the online Vitality Mall where they can spend their accrued Vitality Bucks on a variety of purchases including fitness devices, music and charitable contributions. In April 2014, the mall introduced Amazon.com Gift Cards* which are redeemable for millions of items on the nation’s premier online retail site. The option to purchase Amazon.com Gift Cards has garnered positive feedback from Vitality members and increased interaction with the mall. The average dollar amount spent per member in the Vitality Mall in the period of May -October increased by more than one third over the same period in 2013.
