AFC Bournemouth is delighted to announce that its Official Wellness Partner, health and life insurer Vitality, has signed on to be an official partner of this year’s US Summer Tour.
Andoni Iraola’s side will head to Chicago, New Jersey and Atlanta for the Premier League’s Summer Series, with fixtures against West Ham, Manchester United and Everton.
The tour follows on from the club’s joint-highest finish in the top-flight (ninth), while the side also ended with a record number of points in 56.
The partnership reflects Vitality’s growing presence in the US, where it offers products that inspire healthy changes in individuals and organisations, partnering with insurers and employers across the US, and the strength of the partnership that Vitality has with AFC Bournemouth within the UK.
As part of the tour, Vitality will have presence on the team players’ shirtsleeve, as well as in-stadium LED across all three fixtures within the US.
AFC Bournemouth has been working alongside Vitality within the UK for the past 10 years, with the sponsorship benefitting supporters and the wider community, by inspiring many people to live more active lives. Vitality is also a significant employer in Bournemouth and Vitality has held the club’s stadium naming rights since 2015.
Following the deal, AFC Bournemouth’s Commercial Director, Rob Mitchell, commented:
