Recognized for introducing a whole new kind of life insurance that features an integrated wellness program through its exclusive US-partnership with Vitality, John Hancock Vitality provides policyholders with financial protection, while rewarding them for making healthy choices. Policyholders earn points for the everyday things they do like exercising, purchasing healthy food, visiting the doctorand staying tobacco-free. The more points they earn, the more opportunities they have to earn rewards from national retailers – and save money on their life insurance premiums.

For example, John Hancock Vitality members logged an average of 9,205 steps per day during the first year of the program, compared to the typical adult in the United States, who took an average of 5,900 daily steps.”
