GW School of Public Health and Vitality Institute To Hold Health Promotion Forum

WASHINGTON, DC (February 13, 2014)—The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services (SPHHS) and the Vitality Institute will host a forum on February 20 to explore the challenges associated with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and how to refine the health promotion message.

The forum will consist of short presentations on how to address legislative and regulatory challenges associated with the ACA, followed by a brief panel discussion on refining the prevention message. During the panel discussion, audience members will have the opportunity to engage with special guests including Boris Lushniak, acting surgeon general of the United States, Stephen Cha, medical officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and others.
