Job Purpose
As the Partner Development Associate, you will be responsible for day-to-day strategic partner management, ongoing execution of growth plans for Strategic Partners, and oversee the sales, development and implementation of partner solutions for in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will participate in in strategic planning initiatives and provide overall effective oversight and execution on strategic growth plans. This role will be responsible for mapping current client journeys and construct and enable sales of additional partner solutions. You will design, develop, and drive partner sales strategy and present on solutions services. You will serve as a consultant to leaders of partner organizations and build senior level relationships. You are also responsible for generating new leads and networking connections through strategic partner referrals along with identifying and selling partner solutions in conjunction with the sales team. You will manage and maintain a portfolio of target partner accounts.
Key Outputs may include but are not limited to:
- Drive business development, growth and retention of existing strategic partnership accounts and may participate in the new business development efforts
- Responsible for building and nurturing a network of partner and existing partner relationships, solve problems, and provide strategic value as a trusted partner
- Responsible for the upsell strategy for new and existing partner program elements
- Guide prospective partners on Vitality’s products, platform features and partnership value (Better Together)
- Participate in the evaluation of product design, market positioning, technical marketing, Vitality design, public relations, and sales initiatives as it relates to partners.
- Coordinate with marketing to produce key partner sales enablement materials, support collateral, and events
- Act as the Partner Solutions training liaison
- Contribute to standardizing and continuously evolving the partner development strategy
- Proactive high-level partner brand focus, working closely with the sales and operations teams on new objectives, strategies, and business KPIs
- Aid in maturing our partner service offerings from pre and post sales to campaign execution, completion, and renewal
Person Details
• 5+ years’ experience in a customer or partner facing role for a healthcare, wellness, or digital health company
• 1 + years’ experience in Sales required
• 1 + years’ experience in Marketing preferred
Education / Qualifications / Accreditations
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred., not required
- Proven ability to drive expanded business/pipeline strategies with existing partners to consistently achieve or exceed growth goals.
- Ability to take complex information and create clear, concise and persuasive messages
- Strong commitment to quality
- Ability to keep up and consistently execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships and influencing senior executives
