Description
As a Vitality Technical Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, logging, and resolving all end user technical issues in the Chicago office and for those working remotely. You will be the first point of contact when issues arise and will follow each problem through to completion in a timely fashion. When necessary, you will assign or escalate the issue to the appropriate technical team or our corporate headquarters in South Africa.
Key outputs:
- Responsible for laptop/desktop maintenance and support
- Windows and Mac software/OS support
- Mobile device management and support
- Office telephony administration and support (ShoreTel)
- Imaging, provisioning, and tracking of all end-user equipment (laptops, mobile devices, etc.)
- Active Directory User and Group administration
- Microsoft Defender and Bitlocker administrator
- Software installation and patching using Symantec Management Console
- Citrix XenApp VDI and Published Applications support
- Collaboration/UC systems support (Cisco Telepresence, Webex, MS Teams)
- Asset Management of all physical and virtual servers and computing devices
- Local office infrastructure support (network printers, monitors, conference phones, cabling)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor or Associate degree in IT/IS or related field, or equivalent technical training required
- MCITP/MCSE/CompTIA/A+ or similar certification preferred
- Strong, demonstrable skills and experience in troubleshooting and managing Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2008/2012)
- Linux and MacOS support experience preferred
- Enterprise Cloud experience preferred (O365, AWS, Azure)
