The Vitality Group is looking for a passionate, talented, experienced Quality Assurance Manager who will be responsible for managing both manual and automation teams and processes along with ensuring a flawless implementation process. You should have solid analytics capability, remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Your remit will be to effectively manage, coach and mentor the team members; be able to communicate complicated, technical issues in a manner that is understandable and useful for all stakeholders; and efficiently and effectively handle escalations. You must be proactive, organized, responsible, and work well with a fast-paced group.

ResponsibilitiesPerformance management of the QA team and resourcesProvide leadership, coaching, mentorship, career development, and guidance to the QA team on a day-to-day basisDefine metrics for which the team will be measured; drive results based on those metricsEnsure a high performing culture aligned with the strategic business visionReview testing processes in Vitality’s agile software development environment to identify opportunities for improvement – specifically develop a roadmap to implement a TDD approach with an eye toward reducing manual testing.Use your experience and best practices to build out a QA strategy to align with the recent changes in the technology architecture and system landscape and implement the strategy including Automation Testing build out and implementationDefine new processes as required and collaborate with the software development teams to implement themCapacity planning for testing resources as it relates to delivery teams and roadmap workProvide strategic technical leadership on key projects as assigned


  • 7 years experience in Quality Assurance or similar area
  • 3 years managerial experience
  • Testing Methodologies – BDD
  • Software development within SDLC / Agile Processes
  • Proficient in SQL
  • SPM / JIRA
