The ideal candidate will play a critical role in broadening the Vitality footprint in the health and wellness industry. The role will leverage the candidates’ capabilities to analyze data, identify key trends in improving health, and synthesize the information for purposes of written and visual thought leadership in the healthcare space. The candidate for this role must take complex data, evidence, and science and create powerful stories that help articulate the value and impact Vitality has in our mission of improving people’s health and protecting their lives.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Deriving insights to be used in product positioning, intermediary sales tools, white papers, and product development
- Compilation of presentations and strategic marketing material for delivery to both internal and external audiences
- Technical analyses on industry trends, competitor products, and product utilization
- Development of marketing and communications strategy
- Research and analysis to provide substance to the ideas and direction of the team
- Project management of strategic marketing deliverables
- Defining compelling employer and member value propositions for sales support
- Input to strategic debate and design that informs the direction and deliverables of the business unit
- Measure the success of marketing initiatives
- Interface with multiple departments to ensure accuracy and develop
- Proactively assess and spot new marketing opportunities
- Manage long-term strategic goals
- General support as well as administrative duties
- Manage a strategic marketing specialist
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing-related field
- 5+ years formal work experience in the healthcare/wellness field
- Advanced presentation design skills
Experience:
- Experience working with and supporting sales teams desired
- Track record of innovation, delivery, and performance
- Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills for executive-level internal and external delivery
- Superior relationship builder and networker
Knowledge:
- Strategic marketing or management consulting background advantageous
- MS Office
