As the Vitality Digital Product Manager for North American Insurance Markets, you will play a critical role, as the bridge between software-engineering teams, Vitality product SMEs and our external partners.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Lead the development and execution of strategic product plans for key initiatives, such as the introduction of new product features, capabilities, or enhancements
- Work with strategic partners and technology teams to manage the backlog for maintenance and enhancements
- Work closely with strategic partners to understand needs, pain points and trends within the competitive market
- Be a key participant in the product development life cycle including prioritizing, and working closely with engineering to maintain the product and deliver high quality, customer centered products within agreed timelines
- Collaborate closely with R&D and technology partners, building the core components that enable critical underlying functionality of the product, to understand the impact on customer experience
- Maintain an ongoing proactive partnership with technology team members to ensure business demands are understood and delivered in an agile manner within agreed timelines
- Work effectively with product specialists and development teams in North America, South Africa, and the Philippines
- Oversee the development of user journeys and other artifacts that help communicate, and rally support for, intuitive user experience that best meets the needs of customers
- Effectively communicate program status and progress against objectives to clients and senior management. Synthesize relevant information on key milestones, success criteria, opportunities, dependencies, and risks. Escalate critical issues appropriately

Education and Experience
Required:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in delivering successful digital products to market
- Solid track record for delivering user friendly IOS and Android mobile apps
- Willingness to travel when travel is back to normal

- International experience to engage with a global organization
- Ability to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly matrixed environment
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with ability to establish trust and credibility across lines of business and functions
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience and business needs to a technical audience
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of behavioral science as it relates to health and wellness
- Passion for driving toward an exceptional client experience; CX or UX design experience a significant plus
- A strong analytical and logical mind excited by the opportunity to solve complex problems
- Willingness to mentor junior staff
- Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
- Rigorous, logical thinker with ability to identify and articulate rationale, assumptions, and risks
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with ability to objectively prioritize
